On June 21, the 2nd Chinese Housing Rental Industry Cooperation and Development Forum and the first CHCS China Rental Space Design Competition was successfully held in Beijing. There were a number of leaders at all levels participating in the conference. They are Shan Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of China Building Decoration Association; Zhang Yonggang, Deputy Director at SAC/TC426 of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; Yang Chunyu, Secretary General of China Building Decoration Association Residential Leasing Industry Branch; Zhao Qinxiang, Secretary General and Li Junliang, Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Real Estate Intermediary Industry Association, and Ye Guifen, Deputy Secretary-General of Xiamen Real Estate Intermediary Industry Association. Yin Bei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Building Decoration Association Residential Leasing Industry Branch, presided at the conference. Dansn also attended the forum.

The unique design styles of Harbour Home, Gold Mantis, CYPA Boyu and many designers have won the “Rental Space Project Award” and “Individual Award” for rental space with high popularity.

Meanwhile, Tsinghua University, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Shenyang Jianzhu University, Beijing Institute of Architecture and Engineering, Shenyang University of Technology jointly provided academic support and authority guarantee for this competition. Famous designers and industry experts from home and abroad reviewed and commented on the works and then commended and promoted outstanding enterprises in Award Ceremony at a high standard.

User-centered design and user-engaged innovative design were attracted attention. The discussion on how designers find their own position in the trend of the times in the forum. And guests answered the questions from the audience in the forum.
To meet the demand for residential leasing industry development in China, implement of the announced by the State Council Several Opinions of the Rental Housing Market to Speed Up the Cultivation and Development, respond for the spirit of developing rental market in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China --- “insist that houses are for living in, not for speculation” and “speed up the establishment of a housing system with multiple types of suppliers, multiple channels for housing support, and encouragement for both renting and purchase, so that more people will soon have a place to call home”, we should strengthen the residential rental housing, assembly and service optimization, improve people's living standard, promote the quality of residential rental housing, hi-tech assembly and standardized services, and facilitate supply-side structural reform. To find good design into the rental industry through this competition, they will increase consumer satisfaction, and thus promote the development of the industry. CBDA Residential Leasing Industry Branch agreed that the competition will enable enterprises to break through the information barriers of upstream and downstream firms in the leasing industry, realize the docking between materials enterprise and enterprise technologies, and achieve win-win cooperation.
Yang Chunyu said, CBDA Residential Leasing Industry Branch will release the units of compiling work on Technical Regulations on Decoration of Lease-type housing, CBDA Standards, chief editorial unit including Beijing Your Decoration Group, Dansn New Material (Guang Dong) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Yuxiao Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. We formulate the Regulations in order to unify technical requirements of rental housing decoration, meet the needs of the rental housing decoration market and innovation, achieve the goals for technology advanced, economy reasonable, function applicable, safe, reliable, green, energy-saving, beautiful, comfortable and easy to maintain, protect tenants’ privacy and dignity, raise the level of rental-type housing decoration, as well as ensure the project quality of the decoration of leasehold housing. This Regulation applies to the the selection, design, construction, acceptance and maintenance of materials for the renovation of constructed, extended, reconstruction and existing leased housing. This is the first group standard in the leasing industry in China. This standard includes leased-type housing both ordinary commercial rental housing and public rental housing provided by the government or public institutions.
In this Forum, Dansn was awarded the Contribution Award of 2018-2019 China Residential Leasing Industry by China Building Decoration Association.
