On September 29, Dansn New Materials (Guang Dong) Co., Ltd. and GTL-fireban (GTL: Gulf Trade Link Fzco) signed a strategic cooperation agreement and officially launched depth cooperation in fire-rated door. With the principle of “openness, cooperation and win-win results”, both sides are aimed at mutual benefit and common development.

As a provider of formaldehyde-free interior finishing solutions, the Company dominates the industry in the aspects of formaldehyde-free, acoustic insulation, waterproofness, heat preservation, and energy conservation, thanks to its significant performance advantages. To develop higher quality and safer wooden fire-rated doors, DANSN signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Intertek which is an international testing institutions and a third-party notary on August 27, 2019.

DANSN and Intertek carried out a series of fire-rated door testings and certification, including BS 60/90mins and UL 20/60/90mins. At present, DANSN fire-rated doors have passed BS 60mins test and UL 20/60mins test. What’s more, DANSN fire-rated doors have met the requirements and were expected to pass the formal test of BS 90mins and UL 90mins.

In addition, DANSN began to test and certify fire-rated doors in National Standard, and set up a quality and safety monitor system of international standard with the domestic authoritative technical testing standards and the top safety monitoring technology and high quality management system from abroad to verify the results.

Founded in 2011, Gulf Trade Link Fzco (GTL) is located in Dubai, with the aim of exporting high-quality fire-rated doors and owning world-renowned brand, Fireban. To accommodate environment, Fireban fire-rated doors are made of sustainable materials with high integrity and insulation, and approved by the Ministry of Civil Protection. In order to provide a more competitive market price to meet the market demand and ensure market security, GTL-fireban fire-rated doors have been tested by Exova Warrington Test Center in the UK, Material Lab&Thomas Bell Wright International Consultants in Dubai and Intertek in Shanghai. In addition, GTL-fireban is also certified by IFC and BM Trada (Exova) Q Mark. Up to now, GTL-fireban has developed into a leading enterprises of fire-rated doors in area of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with stable market share.

The cooperation between DANSN and Gulf Trade Link Fzco refreshed GTL-fireban. It has single business of fire-rated door core before cooperating. But now two companies would expand business from core to core, semi-finished product and finished product of fire-rated door. And we have the certifications like British Standard (BS) and American Underwriter Laboratories Inc. (UL) certification for fire-rated doors. Besides, DANSN and Gulf Trade Link Fzco has reached a consensus on co-branding and planned to occupy 70%-80% market share in the Middle East and GCC in the next three years.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement confirmed that Gulf Trade Link Fzco recognized and trusted in DANSN R&D strength and technology, marking the further development of DANSN international market in fire-rated door. Relying on the market of GTL-fireban, DANSN hopefully quickly layouts international market in fire-rated door. At the same time, by virtue of the R&D strength and technology of DANSN, GTL-fireban can also enrich categories of FR doors, and further enhance the core competence for mutual benefit and win-win result.
